Member of Brownsville's 2014 Rock River Grand Championship squad. Named MVP of the 2nd Annual Wisconsin Amateur Baseball Classic. Named Rock River North Player of the Week for week 7, 9 IP, 1 ER, 9 k's in a win vs Hustisford + going 4-8 with 3 runs and 4 RBI between the win vs Hustisford and a win vs Oakfield. Combined with Austin Massey for No-Hitter vs. Forest in First Round of NCS tournament (5/30/14 @ Brownsville, W15-0).  Named Pitcher of the Year for the Tri-County Night League.

In only full season for UW-Stevens Point (2015), was member of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Tournament Championship team.  The team finished with a 33-14 record while Mitch finished with pitching stats of 8 wins and 2 losses, 2 saves, an ERA of 2.36, 91.1 innings pitched, 62 strikeouts and an opponent batting average of .243.  Mitch was named WIAC Athlete of the Week for the week of April 6-12th.  All this resulted in Mitch earning Pitcher of the Year in the WIAC as well as Pitcher of the Year in the Midwest Region by D3Baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and finally NCAA Division 3 Honorable Mention All - American Starting Pitcher by D3Baseball.com and ABCA.  Mitch was also an effective offensive weapon for the Pointers batting .308 with 2 home runs and 11 RBI in 52 at-bats.

Mitch also played Football while at UWSP from 2010-2013, starting at Quarterback from 2011-2013 and earning Honorable Mention All-WIAC honors his Senior Season.

Four-time letterwinner...Two-time First Team All-Flyway Conference in both Baseball and Football...Flyway Conference Pitcher of the Year his Senior Year...Flyway Conference Football Player of the Year and Honorable Mention All-State his Senior Year.
